About
Dr. Jyoti Sankar Prusty received his doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, India. His Ph.D. research, titled "Isolation, Identification, and Characterization of Antifungal Peptides (AFPs) from Microbes against Candida albicans," focused on discovering and evaluating novel antifungal agents through integrated in vitro and in silico approaches. He holds a master’s degree (M.Tech) in biotechnology from the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar, India. Currently, he is working as a Senior Project Associate at CSIR–Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP), Dehradun, on a project involving fermentation, scale-up, and technology development of lead industrial enzymes for applications in biofuel, food, feed agriculture, and vaccines. His ongoing research is focused on
> Fermentation, Scale-Up and Process Development, Industrial Enzymes
> Multi-Drug Resistances (MDR)
> Proteomics
> Thearapeutic Discovery
> Downstream Processing
> Molecular Biology
> In Silico Pharmacology
