About
Dr. Govind Gupta is an Agriculturalist and Environmentalist Researcher related with Plant-Microbe Interaction, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Agriculture, Sanjeev Agrawal Global Educational University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He did his Ph.D. from the Department of Microbiology, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Dr Govind Gupta has expertise in various Microbiological and Biotechnological techniques.
He has published more than 20 research papers, 03 book chapters, in International repute Journals. He has a credit of more than 1790 research citations according to Google Scholar. Among all, 12 were represented by h-Index and 13 were represented
by i-10 index respectively. At present he has successfully completed two Research project on Sustainable Management of Agriculture in the Climate Change Era through Awareness of Science and Technology in Phanda and Berasia Block of Bhopal funded by NABARD Madhya Pradesh, India.
He is running one project of Rs. 15,60,000 entitled Floriculture Cultivation, funded by NABARD, Madhya Pradesh. He was honored by Best Teacher Award by Microbiologist Society India, Young Scientist Award in International conference on “Environmental Sustainability: Innovations, Translational Dimensions and Way Forward” in 2020 and Best Poster Award in 5th National Asian PGPR conference for Sustainable and Organic Agriculture Eco-friendly Bio-Innovations for Integrated Crop Management Soil Health & Environment in 2019.
He has received Fellowship for Training of Young Scientist (FTYS) Award given by M. P. Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India in the year 2017, 2016 and 2015.
Dr. Govind Gupta holds various repute membership in International Scientific Societies such as: Asian PGPR Society for Sustainable Agriculture, Association of
Microbiologist of India (AMI), Microbiologist Society, India and Environmental Sustainability.
He has organized various Seminars, Conferences, Summer School, Skill Development Program and Value Added Courses for the participants across the state within India and Internationally.
He established fruitful research collaborations with academic and industrial research Institutions viz. Asian PGPR Society for Sustainable Agriculture, Society for
Environmental Sustainability, Barkatullah University Bhopal and CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
