About
I am currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, USA where my research focuses on host-pathogen interactions in vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC). I use a murine VVC model to investigate immune mechanisms and inflammatory responses associated with Candida albicans infection. My work involves studying the expression and regulation of immune markers using techniques such as immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry, ELISA. By integrating molecular and cellular approaches, my goal is to better understand the pathways driving disease pathology and identify potential therapeutic targets.
