About

Dr. Jose Granell is an ENT - Head&Neck Surgeon, leading advocate for the advancement of robotic applications in Head&Neck Surgery in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. He is proctor for transoral robotic surgery.
He earned his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at 12 de Octubre Hospital. He subsequently obtained his PhD from the European University of Madrid. His extensive clinical, research, education and training experience includes plenty of peer-reviewed publications, numerous book chapters and invited national/international lectures. He is a Professor at the School of Medicine at the European University of Madrid.
He has held faculty positions at several hospitals within the Spanish Public Health System, currently at Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital in Madrid. Since June 2017, he also serves as the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at HLA Moncloa University Hospital.
His clinical expertise is focused on head and neck oncologic surgery, with a particular emphasis on both open and minimally invasive functional surgeries, as well as reconstructive procedures, with a broader focus on facial plastic surgery.
