Dr. Ranjit Gurav is an Associate Professor at UPES Dehradun who ranks among the top 2% of global scientists in Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, and Enabling & Strategic Technologies published by Stanford University, USA, from 2022 to 2025. Renowned for his impactful and award-winning contributions, his research mainly centers on bioenergy, biochar, biopolymers, biomass valorization, bioremediation, biotransformation, wastewater treatment, and bioelectrochemical systems. After earning his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Shivaji University, Maharashtra, India which was supported by prestigious research fellowships such as CSIR-SRF and UGC-BSR. He further conducted extensive research across multiple countries, including the USA, South Korea, India, and China, for a decade, where he played the roles of research professor, assistant professor, postdoctoral research associate, and young scientist to propel advancements in his field. Dr. Gurav has effectively obtained research funding amounting to $130,000 USD from prestigious institutions, including the NSF I-Corps of the USA, FIAP of Texas State University, USA, and the Fastrack Young Scientist of DST-SERB, India.
