About
Dilip Kumar Bagal is an Assistant Professor-II in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Government College of Engineering Kalahandi in Bhawanipatna, Odisha, India. He received his M.Tech (Research) degree from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where he specialised in the topic of mechanical engineering. Having a particular interest in metal machining, non-traditional machining, and data analytics, Dilip has performed research in advanced optimization and soft computing in the area of mechanical engineering. His contribution has been honoured with the Outstanding Research Faculty Award 2021 from Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Rourkela, Orissa, India.
Dilip is a member of the International Association of Engineers and the Institute of Engineers (India), and has worked as a peer reviewer for numerous academic publications in his profession. He has also written multiple academic publications, which may be accessed on his Google Scholar and ResearchGate pages. Ultimately, Dilip is a motivated researcher and educator, committed to promoting the area of mechanical engineering via his teaching and research efforts.
