Arpita Das presently working as an Asst. Professor in the Dept. of Genetics & Plant Breeding, Bidahn Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, one of the premier State agricultural University of Eastern India. Dr. Das holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology. Her area of expertise includes development of genetic and genomic resources in food legumes, crop improvement through resistance breeding programme. She has published 61 research papers, 07 review articles and 10 book chapters, 4 teaching manual, 01 technical bulletin.
