Pratibha Saini
Friedrich-Schiller-Universitaet Jena, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Ruhr-Universität Bochum Institut für Thermo- und Fluiddynamik, University of Rajasthan
About
Pratibha Saini earned her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from
the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India, in 2021. She then
expanded her research expertise as a Research Assistant at
Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany (2022). Following
this, she pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at FriedrichSchiller-Universität Jena, Germany, under Prof. Wolfgang
Weigand. Currently, Dr. Saini is a Post-Doctoral Researcher
in Prof. Benjamin Dietzek-Ivanšic´’s group at Friedrich-Sch
iller-Universität Jena, supported by the DFG-Walter Benjamin Programme. She has authored 25 publications in
internationally reputed journals and holds one patent. Her
research focuses on visible-light-driven organic transformations using CxNy nanomaterials and carbon quantum
dots (CQDs). She is particularly dedicated to upcycling
carbon dioxide (CO2) into valuable feedstocks and H2 production under visible light,
contributing to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient chemical processes.
