About
My research in Ph.D. involves the development of new-generation herbal pesticide product formulations using advanced technologies, in-vitro and in-vitro bio-efficacy evaluation and identification of chemical constituents in botanicals. My main objective for the said research is to develop stable, effective, user and eco-friendly controlled-release botanical formulations which would help in the reduction of the over-dependence on chemical pesticides; in short to discourage the use of chemical pesticides. I believe the use of plant-derived active materials over conventional chemical pesticides will reduce the negative environmental impact. This hypothesis thus inspired my research ambition.
