About
Prof. (Dr.) Parul Gupta is a distinguished academician, researcher and educational administrator. He is presently working as Professor & Director Academics in Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial College of Engineering & Management, Lucknow. Having a remarkable experience of 25 years, Dr. Parul Gupta has formerly served as Provost/Pro Vice-Chancellor at Dr. K. N. Modi University, Newai, Jaipur, and B. N. College of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow & Global Institute of Technology & Management, Gurgaon as a Professor and Director. Being an expert in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Gupta has given his eminent contribution as a Professor & HOD, Associate Dean Academics & Dean Value Education Cell at Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad for 21 years.
He completed his B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 from Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore and then M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Design) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad in 2006. Having a keen interest towards the same field and being an ardent researcher, he then involved himself with research area and completed his Ph.D. in 2014 in Mechanical Engineering and is an alumnus of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad.
Dr. Gupta truly has a passion to stand out from the crowd and it is due to this that he has published more than 40 publications in various International Journals (SCIE, WOS, SCOPUS and Referred Journals) and International Conference proceedings. He is Fellow of IAEME & ISRD, LM ISTE, IAENG, and IEDRC. He is also a reviewer & member in the Editorial Board of various referred & reputed International Journals. He has registered and published 27 National/International patents in Intellectual Property of India/Australia/UK, in which granted 12 International/Indian utility/design Patents. He has also received one Consultancy project of Rs 90 Lakhs from Vocational Education & Skill Development, Govt. of U.P. & Fronius Company, Chandigarh.
For his tremendous achievements and contribution to the Technical Education and loyalty of 20 years in MIT Moradabad, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow honoured him on 26 July 2019, on the occasion of its Foundation Day. For his continued excellence in research industry and high academic goals and outstanding achievements through development, innovation, leadership, dedication and commitments towards learning, he has received Global outreach research award 2019 for excellence in Young Researcher in Mechanical Engineering on 31 July 2019 at Bangalore.
