About
Komal Choudhary is a postdoctoral fellow at department of Agroecology, Aarhus University, Denmark. She was an Associate professor at Samara University Russia. She has been a Ph.D. from - The Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kowloon, Hong Kong. During her PhD she was a visiting researcher at LETG, University of Rennes 2 France. She has also been associated with Kazan State Agrarian University, Kazan, Russia and Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic. She has been a Jr. Scientist at Samara State Aerospace University, Russia. She has completed her Bachelors' and master’s degrees in Geography from the University of Rajasthan, India in the years 2003 and 2005 respectively. She also completed her Bachelor of Education in 2007 from the University of Rajasthan, India. After her education, she was a college-level lecturer in Indian college, and she has to her credit an illustrious experience in teaching and other administrative responsibilities spanning over a decade and has served in various capacities like Principal, Faculty Development, and Controller of Examinations. Komal brings with herself vast experience in curriculum design, research guidance, and innovative teaching. She published 60 peer-reviewed papers including books as a Co-author in the field of earth and space science and his prime research interest is satellite earth observations through remote sensing & GIS technology with special attention on agricultural mapping & monitoring, sustainable development, ecology / ecosystem / environment. She received 3 times Best Paper Award at ITNT, Russia and ICIKM Hong Kong and Best Researcher Award at the “International Research Awards on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems”. She is a member of many scientific societies/journals. She visited Brazil, USA, Europe, Russia, India, Hong Kong, and Denmark etc.
