During PhD, Dr. Adnan has conducted extensive research on the cellular and genetic mechanisms underlying the heat stress response in bovine granulosa cells. Following this, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at AGIS in Shenzhen, where his research focused on the health outcomes of preterm infants in relation to diet (bovine colostrum versus formula milk), examining the impact on the gut microbiome and metabolism. Currently, he is a Computational Genomics Researcher at UCD in Ireland, where he focuses on integrative genomics and the development of next-generation tools for the control and eradication of bovine tuberculosis.
