About
Dr. Vibhu Pandey is a Dynamic Agricultural Researcher with extensive expertise in conducting comprehensive feasibility trials and research projects in challenging environments. Currently leading multiple initiatives in the elevated terrains of Leh and Ladakh to assess seed production feasibility and altitude suitability for Potato, Carrot and Onion. Specialized in evaluating storability of Potato, Carrot, Turnip, Radish and Apple in passive subsurface storage structures during Ladakh’s extreme winter seasons. Proficient in managing diverse research trails within Ladakhi greenhouses, poly trenches and poly enches, focusing on enhancing cultivation techniques for guard crops, solanaceous, and leafy vegetables.
Conducting impactful studies on the effects of organic and inorganic manure on potato growth and replace Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) with organic alternatives rich in phosphates, aiming to promote sustainable farming practices. Skilled in data analysis, project management and building partnerships with local stakeholders to integrate traditional knowledge with modern agricultural advancements. I want to use my skills in agricultural research and innovation to help make sustainable development and food security.
