About
Dr. Bungala Chinna Jamalaiah has received his doctoral Degree in Physics on “Studies on optical absorption and luminescence properties of rare earth ions in lead borate titanate aluminium fluoride glasses” from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati 517502, India in 2009. He worked as Assistant Professor at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati 517102 during 2009-2010. He has four years of Post-Doctoral Research experience from Republic of Korea (2010-2012) and from Portugal (2012-2014).
Currently he is working as a faculty of Physics at Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering & Technology, Nandyal 518501, Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh, India.
As on July 2018, he has 50 SCI research publications in various international reputed science journals, 8 conference articles and 37 conference proceedings. He attended 9 International and 20 National conferences, 4 National work shops and 2 short term courses.
He is a potential referee for 20 International scientific journals. He is a life member in various scientific bodies.
He was awarded with "Research Excellence Award 2017" by Institute for Exploring Advances in Engineering (IEAE), Bangalore, India. His biographical profile was also included in “Asia – Men & Women of Achievement” Volume 11, Reguerdon Inc., 1369 Kashmere Gate, Delhi – 110006, India.
He received "Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing" from Journal of Molecular Structure (December 2016), Journal of Alloys and Compounds (March 2017) and Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy (May 2017).
He has one SERB-DST (EMR) Major Research Project of worth ₹20,11,790/- (2017-2020) and a UGC-SERO Minor Research Project of worth ₹1,50,000/- (2017-2019).
He is guiding two research scholars for their PhD, who registered at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Univerity Anantapur, Anantapuramu 515002, A.P., India
