About
I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the Government College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Khandola, Goa, and a doctoral candidate at BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus. My research examines the social representations and socio-legal experiences of female rape survivors in Goa, with a particular focus on centring survivor perspectives to inform and strengthen trauma care within medico-legal systems.
In addition to my academic work, I serve as the Executive Editor of Jaag Monthly, a Konkani literary magazine dedicated to the preservation and promotion of language, literature, and cultural expression in Goa. Broadly, my interests lie at the intersections of gender, law, mental health in everyday, institutional and community settings.
