About
Dr Kumar, obtained his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Delhi University in 2006, followed by his Master of Occupational Therapy from the Hamdard University in 2008 and a PhD in Geriatric Mental Health from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. He also completed Master in Medical Gerontology from Trinity College Dublin. He has over 15 years of clinical and research experience, primary in geriatric population in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient hospitalization, community-based settings. Dr Kumar has presented his research work nationally and internationally in more than 15 countries. Dr Kumar published more than 20 papers in national and international journal and also the author for three books. In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious Government of Ireland International Scholarship for post-doc advanced research opportunity in Ireland. He completed his advanced research-based master program from Trinity College Dublin in 2017. At present, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of Health Allied Sciences, Amity University, Noida.
