About

I am Dr. Ravikumar S, holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil and a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering. I am GATE-qualified in Civil Engineering and Architecture. I also earned my Doctorate in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering, under the ADFellowship, formerly known as the National Doctoral Fellowship. My research project, funded under the RPS Scheme and the Institute R&D fund, cost more than 2 million INR and was carried out under the directorship of Professor Dr. Kothandaraman, former principal of Pondicherry Engineering College.

My PhD work focuses on studying the behaviour of reinforced concrete beam-column joints and improving their performance during earthquakes. I am passionate about teaching and research, having published seven research articles in international journals. I am enthusiastic about research collaboration and post-doctorate opportunities.
