Working as Chief Agronomist, Advanced Centre For Integrated farming Systems Research, AICRP on IFS, AAU, Jorhat, Assam. Involved in Agricultural extension and research having 23 years of experience in research & extension mainly on Agronomic management, IFS, technology dissemination. Worked 11 years in Arunachal Pradesh, India in KVK Tirap & KVK Lohit (Namsai - Best ICAR KVK). Received "Braja Gopal Sharma Memorial All India best Extension worker award - by SADHNA, H.P; "Best Extension Professional award - SBER; SAAI-"Krishak Bandhu" Award, Tripura; "Organic farming award" by Agriculture Today Group; "Young Scientist Award" by SEE, U.P.; "Best Agronomist Award" by Gujrat Natural farming University with Hindustan Agricultural Research and Welfare Society. Published more than 230 research articles, abstracts, training manuals, popular articles, leaflets etc. Also working as member of "National Editorial Team" of Indian Journal of Agronomy, Editorial Board Member of e-magazine - Sabujeema, Associate Editor of International Journal of Agriculture and Nutrition. Life member of more than 12 societies related to Agriculture and Environmental research and Development
