About

Cardiovascular molecular biologist with a Ph.D. in cardiac regeneration and AAV-based gene therapy (CSIR-CDRI, 2026). My doctoral work identified a long non-coding RNA that drives cardiomyocyte proliferation and cardiac regeneration through an ENO1/β-catenin/Myc axis, established using AAV9-cTnT–mediated cardiac gene delivery in vivo. I bring hands-on capability in AAV design, production and cardiac-targeted delivery, neonatal and adult murine cardiac injury models, echocardiography, and mechanistic RNA–protein biochemistry, together with published work on angiogenesis as a determinant of cardiac regeneration and on transcriptional control of endothelial microRNAs. Co-first author of a cardiac regeneration study currently under revision at Molecular Therapy: Nucleic Acids, and co-author of eight peer-reviewed publications in journals including Cardiovascular Research, Basic Research in Cardiology, EMBO Reports and Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology. I am seeking postdoctoral research in cardiac regeneration and repair after myocardial infarction, at the interface of vascular biology, endothelial plasticity and regenerative therapeutics.
