Mrunali Patel, Ph.D., is a distinguished Pharmaceutical Technology Expert and researcher specializing in advanced drug delivery systems and translational pharmaceutical sciences. Her extensive research portfolio focuses on the design, characterization, and evaluation of novel therapeutic platforms, including nanoemulsion and microemulsion platforms, lipid–polymer nanocarriers, and hybrid lipid–polymer therapeutic systems.
Dr. Patel has pioneered significant advancements in targeted and specialized drug delivery, with a particular emphasis on intranasal and brain-targeted delivery, as well as pulmonary drug delivery systems designed for lung cancer therapeutics. Methodologically, she integrates modern Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) principles into rigorous analytical method development and validation.
An accomplished author and academic collaborator, Dr. Patel is the co-editor of the definitive text Nanotechnology in Medicine: Toxicity and Safety (Wiley, 2021). Her research is widely published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, including: International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, AAPS PharmSciTech, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, International Journal of Pharmaceutics, European Polymer Journal, etc.
