Dr Mahfooz Alam

About

Dr. Mahfooz Alam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Vishwakarma University, Pune. Formerly a research scholar in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at Aligarh Muslim University, India, he focuses on moment properties in ordered random variates, including order statistics, record values, progressive censoring, generalized order statistics, and dual generalized order statistics. He also works on the characterization of continuous probability distributions. Dr. Alam has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals.
