About
Swaroop Sahoo got his PhD from Colorado State University in May, 2015. His PhD research work focused on use of microwave radiometer measurements to estimate water vapor and temperature profile in the atmosphere.
Swaroop Sahoo joined KIIT University as an Assistant Professor in January 2015 and joined to Amritha University in Feb 2016.
He has been an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad since July 2016. In this position he has been involved in teaching core courses while doing research in radar signal processing, phased array antenna design and cloud particles scattering studies. He also has a startup company by the name of Silverstreak Techscape Private Limited. The company developed a simulator for the detection of aircraft by a radar in a chaff environment.
