About
I have been at the forefront of biopharmaceutical innovation with over 23 years of experience, currently leading as Director and Head of Discovery Biology Division at Cipla R&D Centre. My career began as a Research Scientist, progressing to significant leadership roles due to my expertise in oncology, autoimmune disorders, pulmonary hypertension, neurology, and infectious diseases. I have a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (ICMR) and an MBA with a focus on Leadership, Strategy, and Finance.
At Cipla, I have been instrumental in establishing robust in vitro and in vivo assay platforms, which have been crucial for the development of therapies and diagnostics.
I have co-authored about 22 US patents, contributing to novel pharmaceutical compositions and treatments. My research findings have been published in several peer-reviewed journals and include presentations at major international conferences, underscoring my role as a thought leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
