About
I am Dr. Niyamat I. Beedri. I have completed a Ph.D. in material science under the guidance of Dr. H. M. Pathan, Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune 411007. During my research career, I have synthesized various nanostructured oxide semiconductors such as Nb2O5, TiO2, ZnO, CeO2, and their composites for the utilization in the third-generation solar cell. I have experience in the characterization of films and powders using various techniques such as XRD, SEM, UV-Vis, Raman, I-V, etc. To be precise, I have the expertise, particularly in the chemical precipitation method. Moreover, I also gained experience in nanoscale building blocks at the nanometer scale for the design of novel functional organic-inorganic nanoparticle (quantum dots )architectures and devices using synthesis material. Presently, I am working on the synthesis of efficient nanostructured architectures of Nb2O5, ZnO/Nb2O5, TiO2/Nb2O5 photoanode for DSSCs application. I used organic as well as ruthenium dye for the fabrication of Nb2O5 photoelectrode-based third-generation solar cells. I have 17 publications in SCI journals. In addition, I have presented my research work at various national and international conferences. I have 7 years of research experience.
