About

Dr. Mayank Singh is currently working as a Professor and Dean Research at Metro University, Greater Noida. Prior, he worked as Head - CSE (Data Science) and Dean (Research) at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, India and Director at Consilio Research Lab, Tallinn, Estonia. He also worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa and Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad. He has 22+ years of extensive experience in IT industry and Academics in India and abroad. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University in 2011. He obtained his M.E. (2007) in Software Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala and B.Tech. (2004) in Information Technology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

During his 22 years of service, he served in various positions like Associate System Engineering, Software Tester, Lecturer, senior lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in various organizations. He has administrative experience as Dean Research and Head of Department at various reputed institutions. He was head of 990+ students and 42+ faculty and staff members.

Dr. Singh has organized more than 30 workshops on various technologies and one AICTE Sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDPs) on Software Testing, Database Testing, and Reliability. He has organized several International Conferences with Springer, IEEE, IOP Science, and other Scopus Indexed Journals as General Chair or Executive General Chair.

Dr. Singh has published around 130+ research papers in peer-reviewed Transaction, Journals, and Conferences of National and International repute and has supervised 12 M.Tech and 11 PhD students in the areas of Cloud Computing, Software Testing, Cyber Security and Ontology and supervising 3 Ph.D. students. He has published 13 patents and 3 granted. He edited or authored 11 books with International publishers like Springer / IGI. He is part of the Modeling and Simulation Body of Knowledge (M&S BoK), University of Ottawa, Canada. He is an active review committee member of Research Grants Council (RGC), Hong Kong.

He is currently also serving as a Life Member of Computer Society of India (CSI), Life Member of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of ACM, Senior Member of IACSIT, and Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He is also serving for IEEE Committees as a TPC Member and designated Reviewer for various IEEE Conferences.

Dr. Singh is currently serving as a Reviewer for IET Software, IEEE Communications, IEEE TENCON, IEEE Sensors, The Journal of Engineering, IET Wireless Sensor Networks, and a Program Committee Member of innumerable IEEE & Springer International Journals and Conferences Worldwide.
