About
I am a public health practitioner at Clarke International University (CIU), formerly International Health Sciences University (IHSU) in Kampala, with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Public Health and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education (PGDME) from CIU. I hold a PhD in Public Health (Geriatrics) from Nkumba University, Uganda, where my doctoral work focused on aging and healthcare systems for older populations. Over the past ten years, I have served as a lecturer, researcher, and consultant, contributing to curriculum development and review in higher education, participating in the formulation and evaluation of institutional research policies, and advancing research governance. My consultancy work in research ethics and governance includes training, protocol review, and institutional strengthening, helping organizations establish Research Ethics Committees (RECs), build compliance systems, and promote responsible conduct of research. With a blend of academic expertise and practical experience, I remain committed to advancing geriatrics, ethics, and evidence‑based practice in Uganda and beyond.
