I hold a Ph.D from Univ. of Texas-Arlington and is a Professor in the Dept of CS&IS and Center Head-APPCAIR (AI research Center), BITS PILANI K K Birla Goa Campus. I have contributed more than 100 articles in top ranked conferences and Journals including several IEEE Transactions and is a Senior Member-IEEE, Senior Member-ACM and a Fellow-IETE. I have Contributed to the theory of machine learning/deep learning and meta-heuristics and developed several state-of-the-art methods in Deep Learning based classification tasks, optimizers for non-convex problems, proposed a novel anomaly detection method for univariate and multivariate time series data and interpretable tools in Deep learning.
I have 15 years of Post-Ph.D. experience in research and teaching in academia and industry. I'm a co-founder and Director of Research at HappyMonk AI, an AI product company. My Cumulative citations stand at 1682 as per Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=C-Qm2LcAAAAJ&hl=en
