About
Dr. Ankaj Thakur is an Assistant Professor at CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV) Palampur, where he joined in 2017. He holds a BVSc & AH from CSKHPKV, Palampur, MVSc from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) Ludhiana, and a PhD from the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Karnal and Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) Hisar in Livestock Production Manageemnt. He is currently engaged in teaching courses of BVSc & AH and BSc Agriculture students. My research interests encompass pastoralism, small ruminants science, animal welfare and behavior, calf management, and livestock housing.
