I began my career as a healer for individual patient (MBBS – 1992) then become disease detective for the population (Master of Science in Epidemiology – 2000 - and Now moving forward in management of the myriad public Health issues, in fact healer for the community (PhD in Health Management). Hence, committed to improving public health outcomes, I wish to devise and support innovative initiatives for improving the quality of health care, enhancing community engagement; and conduct research to generate robust evidence in finding the linkages between climate change (Heat and floods) and maternal and child health which in turn will benefit policymakers, program implementers and community itself. I am specialized in maximizing the evidence through data and the project output with timely completion of the task by using minimal resources.
In brief, I am professionally qualified medical epidemiologist, a fervent public health specialist and skilled researcher with rich experience of more than 20 years in Research, Teaching / Training, and Program / Project designing and Implementation in health and development sector, with special focus on Epidemiology, Research, Non-Communicable diseases, Child Health, Urban Health and Climate Change (Heat and Flood).
