Dr. Nusrat Shaikh

About

Dr. Nusrat Shaikh is an Associate Professor and Head at Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in Smt. N. M. Padalia Pharmacy College, Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, serving as Mentor, engaged with the research laboratory on the innovation and Research activities at the Department of Chemistry and Quality Assurance. She has guided 27 M. Pharm students and 6 B. Pharm. students. Dr. Nusrat focuses mainly on the comprehensive utilization of new products, with the aim of the development and validation of Pharmaceuticals and nutraceutical products. Her key interests include “Analytical-biological evaluation of Pharmaceutical/ natural products and their metabolomic fingerprinting via HPLC and LC-MS analysis” and “Chemistry, Phytochemistry, stability studies and Impurity profiling of Pharmaceuticals.” In the last 5-years, 10 plus scientific articles and book chapters have been published. Dr. Nusrat Shaikh has presented her work at 21 national and 12 international conferences. Her scientific contributions are recognized by Research Foundation- Global Agro Biotech & Pharma awarding her with National Women Scientist Award, Received the Honors Young Researcher Award by Smt. N. M. Padalia Pharmacy College, Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India at the arena of Karwa-22 and got 1st prize as Best Poster Presentation Award in 29th APSI Scientist Meet & International Conference on “Drug Discovery & Development in Agrobiotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences” in collaboration with Academy of Plant Science India and Global Agro Biotech & Pharma Research Foundation.
