About
Currently I am working as a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Chemistry, University of Aveiro, Portugal. Iam working on primary cell culture of European eel Anguilla anugilla along with the commercial fish cell lines for evaluating their responses against metal oxide nanoparticles and their coexposure to persistent environmental pollutant like mercury.
During my postdoctoral studies at Andong National University, South KoreaI have worked on insect immune system and various genes related with the immune system especially on Spodoptera exigua and Tribolium castaneum. Completed my Ph.D from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. During my doctoral studies I was involved in the biomonitoring of potential toxic elements in different sample types which include demosponges from Gulf of Mannar, seawater and sediment samples
