🌟 Welcome to my ORCID profile! I'm Dr. Junaid Ahmad, a passionate Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Zhejiang University, proudly standing at #42 in the QS World Rankings. I earned my MSc and Ph.D. from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, recognized in the QS World Subject Ranking, Top 50 in Development Studies.
🔬 My academic journey is marked by an impressive publication record. I have 52 papers in high-impact journals, including 38 in Q1 and Tier-1 ranked journals. This work has earned me over 1702 citations and an H-Index of 19, reflecting the global impact of my research.
🌏 My academic pursuits have taken me across the globe, from coursework and research at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, to Kyoto University, Japan, the University of Granada, Spain, the University of Hawaii, USA, and Kasetsart University, Thailand.
🚀 Before delving into academia, I gathered rich experiences working with world-renowned organizations like Eli Lilly, UNHCR, RIMES, IRC, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and Islamic Relief (UK). My professional background spans various roles in tertiary care hospitals, international NGOs focusing on capacity building, community mobilization, and public health promotion, and even a stint in a multinational corporation specializing in medical education.
