About
Dr. Bidyut Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Das has been recognized for his outstanding performance, receiving a gold medal in M.Sc., a silver medal in M.Tech., and the prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship awarded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Prior to his current position, Dr. Das served as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and as a Lecturer at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. His primary research interests include ICT-based teaching and learning, natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning, and digital microfluidic biochips. Dr. Das has contributed extensively to the academic community through publications in several SCI-indexed journals and presentations at esteemed international conferences. In addition to his research pursuits, he actively serves as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for various international journals, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and peer engagement.
