About
My research focuses on the photocatalytic properties of various nanomaterials (transition metal oxides, MOFs, plasmonics, etc.) for wastewater treatment and clean energy applications. I specialize in the colloidal synthesis of nanoparticles using techniques such as hydrothermal, hot injection, and solvothermal methods. I have extensive experience in material characterization, including XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis, PL, XPS, and ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy. Currently, I am investigating the photoelectrochemical behavior and hydrogen generation of plasmonic-MOF composites. I have worked on spinel ferrites for photocatalytic water splitting (HER & OER), energy storage (supercapacitors), and hybrid systems with metal oxides and perovskite materials, with expertise in electrochemical measurements using potentiostats.
My current material interests include MOFs, TiO₂, CuO, BiFeO₃, and noble metal nanoparticles (Au, Ag).
