I am an Associate Professor of Anatomy, medical educator, researcher, and innovator with extensive experience in competency-based medical education (CBME). I hold a PhD and MSc in Medical Anatomy from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, where I was awarded the Gold Medal and recognized as the Best Outgoing Postgraduate. I have also completed an MBA in Hospital Administration and the Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
My areas of expertise include gross and clinical anatomy, medical education technologies, and innovative teaching methodologies such as gamification and digital learning. I have been actively involved in curriculum development, assessment planning, and faculty development initiatives.
I have 7 patents and 2 copyrights to my credit and am the author of a Histology Manual for First Year MBBS Students. My research interests include musculoskeletal anatomy, flat foot prediction using Mittal’s Regression Equation, and the development of innovative teaching-learning tools and physiotherapy-based rehabilitation devices.
