Dr. Arun Kumar is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital , Budge Budge, West Bengal.
Previously he was working as Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry at Krishna Mohan Medical College and Hospital, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhilai. Started his teaching career in 1998. He worked as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in MCOMS, Pokhara, Nepal. In 2010 he was appointed as Associate Professor in Faculty of Medicine, in Management and Science University, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. He has worked in the Faculty of Medicine in India and abroad. Currently he is Editor-in-Chief of Asian Journal of Medical Sciences (eISSN: 2019-0576; pISSN: 2467-9100), Editor in Chief of Asian Journal of Bio-Medical Research and also as Editor- in- Chief of Journal of Biomedical Sciences, IMedPub, Spain. he is associated with more than 40 journals as Associate Editor and Editorial Board member.
He has twenty one years teaching experience and have published more than hundred fifty scientific papers in National and International indexed journals. He has authored seven books and contribution of chapters in two text books.
Dr. Arun Kumar accomplished his Graduation and Post-Graduation from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry, India. He further did his Doctorate from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2009 in Medical Biochemistry. He can be reached at [email protected]
