About

I did my endocrinology training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. I am currently working as professor in the department of endocrinology in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. I have published more than 200 peer reviewed publications in PubMed indexed journals, edited a book and has written five book chapters. I have also delivered both oral and posters presentations in various national and international meetings. I have served on the editorial board of the World Journal of Diabetes and is currently a member of the editorial board of the Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism. I am also a peer reviewer for multiple national and international journals. I have organized many CMEs & conferences. I was awarded Prof. MMS Ahuja Award for the Best DM Student in Endocrinology in the year 2010. I also got Endocrine Society of India AV Gandhi award 2018 & 2021 for the student dissertations and JIPMER Scientific Society Award 2019 & 2022 for best original paper.
