Sanjeev Kumar Sharma

About

I am a biotechnologist and Ph.D. researcher specializing in microbiology, bacterial genomics, metagenomics, and microbial biotechnology. My research focuses on microbial diversity, biomass-degrading CAZymes, cold adaptation, and valorization of Himalayan agro-industrial waste. I have also experience in NGS-based genomics, genome-resolved metagenomics, microbial isolation and characterization, and bioinformatics. My work aims to develop microbial and genomic resources for sustainable biomass conversion and waste-to-wealth applications.
