Dr. Patil's professional distinction is reflected in his prestigious memberships and fellowships across leading international bodies. He holds Senior Member status in both ACM and IEEE, while his Fellowship distinctions span the Institution of Engineering and Technology (United Kingdom), Institution of Engineers India (FIE), Indian Society for Technical Education (FIETE), Institute of Data Science Japan (FIDS), and the Institute of Biomedical Engineers India. His recent designation as a Chartered Engineer (CEng.) by the Institution of Engineers India further recognizes his exemplary contributions to education and professional practice.

As a thought leader in Signal Processing, Imaging, RFID technology, and the Internet of Things, Dr. Patil has authored over 104 scholarly publications in prestigious national and international conferences and journals. His research acumen was formally recognized through the Best Researcher Award 2014 from SVKM's NMIMS Shirpur, underscoring his commitment to advancing knowledge in his domains of expertise.
