About

Dr. Sanchita Sarkar is working as Professor in Mathematics and also as HOD of Basic Science Department, NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur. She obtained Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University and M.Tech in Operation Research in Industry & Business Management from NIT Durgapur She is having more than 22 years in Teaching experience and more than 14 years research experience. She is also heading different administrative committees responsible for university affair. .Dr. Sarkar has published more than 20 papers in different National & International Journals. She has published 1 patent. She has been selected in AICTE –UKIERI Technical Leadership Training Programme 2019 and successfully received CMI Level 5 certificate in Management and Leadership. She has successfully Organized two day National Conference on "Application Of Optimization Techniques in Engineering And Management Sciences" on 15th -16th Nov, 2018 sponsored by DST& BT, government of West Bengal, as programme coordinator.. She has also received Grant from DST& BT, government of West Bengal, as programme coordinator for organizing two day Workshop on "Application Of Optimization Techniques in Engineering And Social Sciences" on 17th -18th November, 2022. She is also a member of INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ENGINEERS(IAENG) and member of INSTITUTE OF RESEARCH ENGINEERS & DOCTORS .She is also the reviewer of many national & international journals. She has attended and Organized Various Seminars/Workshops/Conferences to gain technical competencies.
