About
I am an Assistant Professor at the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) School of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, with over 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and innovation. I hold a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmedabad, and am deeply committed to advancing drug delivery science while nurturing future pharmaceutical professionals.
My research expertise centers on the design and development of Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) , including lipid nanocarriers (solid lipid nanoparticles, liposomes), injectable depot systems, microemulsions, and solubility enhancement strategies. This work has resulted in 60+ peer-reviewed publications, 5 granted patents, and multiple funded research projects.
At GTU, I am actively involved in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and curriculum design, teaching core Pharmaceutics courses while mentoring M.Pharm and Ph.D. scholars. I believe in bridging the academic-industry gap through collaborative research, student internships, and industry-oriented training programs.
Recognized as an MDPI Top 1000 Reviewer (2025) , I maintain high standards of scientific rigor and peer review. I am open to freelance research consulting and collaborative grant proposals with agencies such as DST, SERB, ICMR, AYUSH, and BIRAC.
I look forward to connecting with fellow researchers, industry professionals, and academicians to drive translational research and pharmaceutical innovation.
