About
I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Kashmir . I did my Ph.D. candidate specializing in the study of random polynomials. I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and an M.Tech in Computer Science from Jawahar Lal University, New Delhi. My academic journey is fueled by a deep-seated passion for mathematics and computer science, with a focus on polynomial theory, probability, and algorithms.
My research interests are an amalgamation of theoretical and applied aspects, often intertwining to offer fresh perspectives in both domains including analysis ,algorithms and geometry, machine learning and deep learning.Probability theory and mathematical and scientific machine learning are the key areas where I seek to contribute, particularly in its intersection with algorithmic complexities.
Apart from my core research activities, I am deeply invested in educational methods that go beyond traditional approaches. I enjoy mathematical animation as a tool for enhanced learning and understanding.I am a great fan on the Python animation library ManimCE . I find that it offers an engaging way to break down complex mathematical ideas into understandable and visually appealing concepts.
I also indulge in recreational mathematics, which I believe nurtures creativity and introduces an element of 'play' into what many consider to be a rigid and formulaic field. In my teaching career, I strive to imbue my students with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm for mathematics, guiding them to explore its multi-faceted nature.Inspired by Erdos ,I believe problem posing as important as problem solving. With a Ph.D. on random polynomials, I aim to explore some new and elegant methods that could be adapted to a wider class of problems involving randomness and polynomials as well as some problems in complex anslysis. I am always open to collaborative opportunities that align with my research interests and look forward to contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
