About

Dr. Suneetha Manne is a renowned professor, distinguished researcher, and an accomplished academic administrator with over 30 years of experience in teaching and research. She currently serves as the Dean (Research Technology and Development) and Head of the Department of Artificial Intellgence at Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from Osmania University, India, she has made significant contributions to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Text Mining, Remote Sensing, and GIS applications.
As an exceptional administrator, she has successfully led the department since 2014, overseeing 1400 students, 32 faculty members, and two academic programs. She has successfully executed three NRSC-ISRO-funded research projects (two completed and one ongoing) and secured grants for Positioning and Navigation Technology labs from IIT Tirupati. She has published 100 plus research papers in various Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, further enhancing research visibility and contributing significantly to advancements in AI, remote sensing, and GIS applications.
A recipient of multiple accolades, she has been honored with the Active Participation Woman Award (CSI) and the CMI Level 5 Certificate (UK). She is a Life Member of CSI, ACM, IETE, IE, and ISRS. She is also actively contributing to the GIS community as a Coordinator for Women in GIS program, promoting diversity and inclusion of Geospatial sciences.
Her deep research commitment is reflected in her active guidance of 02 postdoctoral researchers, 08 Ph.D. scholars, 28 M.Tech projects, and 100 plus undergraduate projects. Through her expertise in sustainable development, AI-driven analytics, and GIS-based decision-making, she continues to make a lasting impact on academia, industry, and society.
