Dr. Snehil Kumar Singh is a dedicated public health professional with over 18 years of experience at international, national, and sub-national levels, specializing in vaccine management, immunization, and sustainable health practices. He is currently engaged with UNICEF in Nairobi, Kenya, at the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) as the Focal Person for Health Care Waste Management, Health Facility Solar Electrification, and Last Mile Vaccine Delivery. In this role, he oversees initiatives to enhance cold chain systems, including solarization projects and drives improvements in last-mile health delivery.

Dr. Singh's career has been marked by significant contributions to strengthening immunization and COVID-19 vaccination programs across India and Malawi. He has worked closely with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), state governments, and global partners such as UNICEF and WHO. His efforts have been instrumental in polio eradication, the Mission Indradhanush initiative, and the introduction of the Rota Virus Vaccine in India.

Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Singh served as National State Support Lead for the USAID-funded Momentum Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity (M-RITE) project, and as Coordinator & Team Lead at the National Cold Chain & Vaccine Management Resource Center (NCCVMRC) in New Delhi. His leadership in these roles significantly enhanced India's immunization supply chain.

Dr. Singh's scholarly work includes authorship of 11 peer-reviewed scientific articles that address various public health challenges, from vaccine logistics and healthcare waste management to emergency health responses during the COVID-19 pandemic. His publications include:

Dr. Singh holds an MBBS, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Care Management, and a Ph.D. in Community Medicine. His extensive experience and leadership in public health initiatives, combined with a commitment to advancing vaccine management and sustainable health solutions, make him a respected figure in the field.
