About
Dr. Hariharan Muthusamy is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, India since June 2018. Prior to that, he has worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India. Prior to SRM IST, he has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Mechatronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia. He received Ph.D in Mechatronic Engineering from UniMAP, Malaysia, Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics from Anna University, India and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharathiar University, India. He has almost 15 years of Teaching and Research Experience. He has worked and working on various funded projects, with grants worth more than INR 1.35 Crore. He has published more than 150 papers in referred journals and reputed conferences . He is a Senior Member of IEEE, USA, Member of IE, India and Member of IET, UK. He received Chartered Engineer status from Engineering Council, UK on February, 2016. He has served as Guest Editor for 3 SCI indexed journals. His major research interests include Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Speech Signal Processing, Signal Processing for Communications, AI/DL/ML Algorithms in VLSI. He has supervised 10 Ph.D and 4 Masters(research) students in the field of his expertise.
