About
I am currently working as a Project Scientist-II at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa, specializing in marine biogeochemistry, bio-optical oceanography, and climate change. I hold a PhD in Chemical Oceanography and a Postdoctoral Fellowship (CSIR-RA) from Andhra University. My research focuses on Primary productivity, dissolved organic matter (DOM) dynamics, nutrients, optical properties, and biogeochemical interactions across coastal, oceanic, and polar environments. I have participated in multiple Indian expeditions to the Southern Ocean, Arctic, Indian Ocean, and Antarctic circumpolar regions, contributing to field-based radiometric and biological productivity measurements that enhance understanding of oceanic biological carbon pump and optical properties.
