About
Currently working as Associate Professor, Department of General Studies, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), YELI, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2009,
Teaching Interest:
Taught number of undergraduate courses such as organic chemistry, chemical kinetics, Modern chemistry, analytical chemistry, Pharmacology, environmental chemistry, coordination chemistry, electrochemistry and general chemistry courses.
Research Interest:
Currently my research program focuses on the new reagents for the spectrophotometric determination of anions, metal ions, pollutant and pharmaceutical drugs. The determination of anions (iodate and hypochloride), metal ions (arsenic, selenium, chromium, platinum, palladium and vanadium), pollutants(endosulfan) in environmental, biological, pharmaceutical and various water samples by spectrophotometric methods and the development of analytical methodology for drug analysis (cephalosporins, mosapride, mesalazine, valsartan and paracetamol) in pharmaceutical matrices.
