Assistant Professor Of Microbiology, Nagpur University, India. PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Rome "Tor Vergata" Italy. Engaged in study of molecular mechanism of human DNA topoisomerase and characterization of new novel topoisomerase inhibitor.
Since I have been involved in the research area of Biochemistry and molecular biology, I have gained valuable experience and confidence in research expertise like PCR, site direct mutagenesis, bacterial and yeast growth and transformation, yeast cell viability assay (spot test), preparation of plasmidic DNA, cloning, expression and purification of recombinant protein, gel electrophoresis, DNA restriction digestion, protein expression and purification, affinity chromatography, SDS page, western blotting, enzymatic assays, cellular coculture, mammalian cellular grow inhibition assays, preparation of cellular nuclear extracts, blood nuclear extraction, assays with radio labeled (P32) oligos (cleavage, equilibrium and religation assays of human Topoisomerase), sequencing denaturing gels, electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA).
