Dr. Hemangi Narvekar is a Clinical Psychologist and researcher with a PhD in Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. Her doctoral research examined the efficacy of canine-assisted therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her research interests include Human–Animal Interactions, Animal-Assisted Interventions, child and adolescent mental health, neurodevelopmental disorders, disabilities, and mental health promotion. She has authored several peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters, presented at national and international conferences, and serves as a reviewer for international journals. She is a recipient of multiple research and Best Paper Awards and has received an ANRF travel grant for international conference presentation.
