About
Dr. Vinod (also known as Vinod Kumar Vashistha) is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Lucknow, Lucknow, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee in Feb 2016 in the field of ‘Chiral separation’. His current area of research includes Electrochemistry; Chromatographic analysis; Analytical chemistry; Electrocatalysis, Nanomaterials; Separation science; Inorganic Chemistry etc. He has published over 100 research articles in 'international refereed journals’, authored two books and two book chapters, and filed three published Indian patents. His current area of research includes Chromatographic analysis; Analytical resolutions; Chiral resolutions, new materials for enantioselective analysis of chiral pharmaceuticals. He has presented his research work in many national and international conferences. He has delivered few invited talks in FDP and seminars. He organized two national seminars and one national conference in the capacity of organizing secretary. He received the Best faculty award for four consecutive years and was also recognized for his efforts towards research and innovation by the GLA University Administration. He has successfully guided 3 doctoral theses. He is an active member of the international scientific committee of conference series by International Core Technology Exchange Organization (ICTEO), Malasiya. He is on the Editorial board of PLOS ONE, BMC Chemistry, Discover Electrochemistry, Discover Applied Science. He is also a potential reviewer for many reputed journals.
